THE BENDIGO PRIDE FESTIVAL IS A COMMUNITY INITIATED AND RUN EVENT THAT CELEBRATES, EXPLORES AND PROMOTES DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION WITHIN THE GREATER BENDIGO REGION AND BEYOND WITH PARTICULAR FOCUS ON LGBTIQA+ COMMUNITIES AND PEOPLE.
Organised by the long standing, volunteer lead, Bendigo Queer Film Festival alongside their friends at Thorne Harbour Country, headspace Bendigo and MILK Queer Party, the festival presents a month long program that includes a variety of events that everyone in the rainbow can enjoy - from family days, to dance parties, to art exhibitions, to comedy nights, to a picnic in the park, a football match, theatre, music and spoken word performance, as well of course, the latests and greatest queer films selected from the Melbourne Queer Film Festival as part of the Bendigo Queer Film Festival itself.
Starting March 29th and running right through until the 29th April, the Bendigo PRIDE Festival is an exciting and ambitious festival that holds community at its core, sending a strong and powerful message that no matter who you are, no matter where you are from, we all equally belong, together.
